Gingersnap Salon is an intimate salon in the heart of downtown Sudbury, specializing in personalized and bespoke hair styles. Open since 2018, our goal is to continue being a pillar within the community, bringing the most updated techniques to our salon. We are committed to our values, providing a safe space for clients of all walks of life. It is a focus for each of our stylists to offer prices that reflect how much we value our clientele, while still offering top tier work.

Jerica

Jerica has been an influential stylist in Sudbury for over 20 years, her passion for education & competition paving the way for many local salons. When she's not teaching classes, she's flying out to compete in places like Los Angeles and working behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week.
Her work has been published in all the hottest zines internationally-- You can find her collections in Salon Magazine, HM and more!
Her chair is a hot commodity at Gingersnap Salon, and we appreciate the patience of every single one of our loyal clients!
Still, somehow she finds the time outside the salon to be a creative writer and poet, and take care of her three puppies.

Belle
(She/Any)
Belle was a born hairstylist, starting in the industry in 2011 folding towels at a famous local salon called House of Lords and never looking back. Behind the chair since 2016, Belle came all the way from Toronto to join the Gingersnap team in October of 2021.
She specializes in groovy fashion colours, funky hair cuts, colour corrections and hair extensions. A jack of all trades inside and out of the salon, Belle is a visual artist, loves gaming and discussing culture. Belle's chair is a safe space for anyone to experiment and be your most authentic self!

Charlie

Charlie, the scissor wizard by day, and musician by night!
A cat parent, human rights activist, and gaming/film nerd at heart, with an undying passion for the Avant-Garde!
Charlie has been with the Gingersnap team for three years. During this time they have truly made a name for themselves in the local hair scene; from their eccentric and alternative style, to making semi finals in the Contessa hair awards with their fellow teammates in 2025!
Charlie is our barbering specialist, with a passion for fashion/vivid colours!
So if you’re looking for a precision clipper cut, or style that defies the norm, Charlie is the stylist for you!
Alexandria
(She/Her)
Alex has been a hairstylist since 2016, graduating college with honors. Since owning her own salon, the Gingersnap team is stoked to have been working with Alex for two years now! She specializes in wig work and hair pieces, and excels at innovative colour work. She is exceptional at helping people feel comfortable and confident in their style, whatever that may be!
Outside of the salon, Alex is down to earth as an esteemed mountain hiker, world traveler and cat parent.
